Green Groceries is a ministry of Christ Episcopal Church in Little Rock, AR. This increases accessibility to healthy foods and supports local farmers.
Green Groceries has a two-fold mission: to provide fresh food (like vegetables, fruit, meat, and eggs) for a family AND to support the local growers we purchase from. We purchase fresh produce, meat, and eggs from local Arkansas growers and give them to Little Rock families in need.

The heat is on, and so are the blackberries! Time to slow down whenever we can and enjoy the fruits of summer. At our June 21 distribution, grocery bags will be filled with collard greens, onions, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, eggs, hamburger, and yes, blackberries...

Thanks to our local growers, Green Groceries bags were bursting with spring goodness yesterday: eggs, swiss chard, spinach, onions, sweet potatoes, white bean soup mix, whole chickens, and fresh strawberries!

Today is a bi-weekly pick-up day for our Green Groceries families. This afternoon volunteers helped participants fill their grocery bags with locally grown turnips, turnip greens, collards, eggs, sweet potatoes, frozen ground beef, squash, pinto beans, and blueberries. Please join us in connecting local food to local need by making a donation to Green Groceries this Giving Tuesday!
