With rising temps predicted for this weekend, it's time again to share that one of the most common rescue calls for park staff is for dogs. Please, do not hike with your dogs during the heat of the day. Walk early or late, stay in the shade as much as possible, reduce the length or difficulty of the hike, and carry plenty of water for yourself and your pet.
