A grass-roots movement working to bring local, regional light rail to central Arkansas.

We founded the Metropolitan Area Transit Consortium (MATC) back in the summer of 2009 when gas prices around the state had reached an all time high of $4/gal. We believe we can make a change to the way people travel around the central Arkansas area with the expansion of the existing River Rail Trolley and implementation of light rail routes to the surrounding cities of Conway, Bryant, Jacksonville
