A Custom Compounding Center tradition continues. Family lunch on Fridays. Good Friday was especially a bitter sweet celebration this year with one of our star technicians, Alyssa, moving on to a new opportunity. Alyssa has been with us at Custom Compounding for three years now. There is a 50-60% chance any medicine you’ve picked up from us the last two years was made by her! Alyssa is one of THREE sisters we have had the privilege to work with from the Cobb family since COVID. Her sister Bailee worked with us for 2 years before pursuing a career in nursing. Alyssa’s twin Natalie also joined us last summer as a clerk/soon to be technician 🙂. These girls are hard working, punctual, rarely complain, and are an overall joy to work with. When Alyssa told me she was moving on a few weeks ago my heart sank. I told her it should always be comforting to you when an employer is devastated to lose you. I can’t say enough good things about the Cobb girls, and Alyssa was an absolute standout! We wish her the absolute best on this Easter Sunday. Her parting message on the white board sums up what I hope to accomplish as a boss, build the best team possible! Yesterday, we compounded from the house. A scratch dinner. Today, we get back at it at the shop. We will be open at 10am. We are down multiple staff members today.
