Great group today for Second Friday Networking. Jessica Escobedo from Rock City Drywall & Paint Co., and K.J.Alford, Artistic Permanent Cosmetics visited and C**t Center from Agile Technology Center gave a great presentation.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that most people have no idea how technical interior design really is.

I spend far more time thinking about lighting plans, circulation paths, ceiling heights, and how a kitchen actually supports someone’s morning routine than I do choosing throw pillows.

The aesthetic part matters. I love color. I love wallpaper. I love a little drama.

But what makes a room feel resolved is the structure underneath it. If the foundation is off, no amount of styling will fix it.
