A Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign jet, N96HE, suffered a runway excursion after landing on runway 28 at Statesville Regional Airport (SVH), North Carolina, USA. There were two persons on board.

An Aerodiana Cessna 208B Grand Caravan (OB-2001-P) crashed near Pueblo Viejo, Peru, during a sightseeing flight over the Nazca lines. The eleven passengers and two pilots perished.
The flight had departed Pisco Airport (PIO) at 12:10 local time. Reportedly, the flight crew declared an emergency at 13:00.
The aircraft crashed about 12 km from the Nazca Lines site.
This is the 7th worst accident involving a Cessna 208

A Cessna TU206F Turbo Stationair, HK-4368, made a forced landing a in a field about 30 minutes after takeoff from Guaymaral Airport (SKGY), Colombia.
The nose gear collapsed and the aircraft oveturned.

A dropped cellphone led to the loss of this Canadian EC-120 helicopter.
While checking his flight plan, the pilot accidentally dropped his phone. It slid beneath the cockpit floor and jammed the right pedal. After three difficult landing attempts and with fuel running low, he used a pile of logs to stop the helicopter from spinning. The helicopter rolled onto its side and was destroyed.
Fortunately, the pilot and both passengers escaped without injury.

A Pilatus PC-6/B2-H4 Turbo Porter skydiving plane (D-FIPS), crashed immediately after takeoff from Nancy-Essey Airport (ENC), France. All eleven on board suffered fatal injuries.

Trans Guyana Airways flight TGY441, a Beech 1900D, was landing on runway 07 at Georgetown (OGL), Guyana, when it hit a herd of capybara. The airplane veered off the runway.

United Airlines flight UA1394, a Boeing 737-724, lined up on the left side of the runway 10L during an intersection departure at Chicago-O'Hare, IL (ORD). The crew aborted the takeoff. They vacated the runway, taxied to the threshold of runway 10L and departed eight minutes later.

The ATR 42-500 maritime surveillance plane that impacted a mountainside on approach to Makassar, Indonesia, on 17 January, experienced degraded GPS data, according to a the preliminary report released today. GPS data was off by about 15 nautical miles by the end of the flight.

Aerocivil Colombia published the preliminary report on the 28 January 2026 accident of a Beech 1900D near Ocaña Airport (OCV), that killed all 15 on board.
