Bearss is a patrol officer with the Chula Vista Police Department. Chris has been in law enforcement for approximately 10 years. He has served a number of different collateral duties at the Chula Vista department, including FTO, less lethal instructor, VIRTRA instructor and has been a member of the UAS Team since the inception in 2018. The department started with a Drone-as-a-First-Responder program and has diversified into a full scale drone team.
