It was so much fun spending the evening at the Friendship Community Art Auction and Gala with my camera! Watching the faces of the artists as their artwork was auctioned off was definitely the highlight for me. So much joy and excitement!

My latest handmade 3D topo map, this time of Harper's Ferry. If you get a chance, it's a wonderful and historic place to visit. Stop by the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, and maybe hike the trail a little bit!

The 2026 Winter Olympics are on, and I'm creating a 3D topo map in between the action. I've done several before, and this one is of an area I've visited several times. Harper's Ferry, among other things, the home of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. Some day I would love to be a thru-hiker visiting there, but for now I'll stick to making maps. This is "in-progress", check back for updates.
