👋 Get to Know Dr. Jared Thompson!

Jared serves as Assistant Professor of Leadership at Luther Rice and Program Coordinator for both the MA in Christian Leadership and MS in Organizational Leadership programs.

Since 2015, Jared has also served as Executive Teaching Pastor at FBC Buford, where his passion for preaching, teaching, and developing Christian leaders comes to life. His current research explores trust in pastoral ministry and how authentic leadership can strengthen the local church.

At the heart of Jared’s ministry is a desire to teach God’s Word in a way that equips people to read, understand, and apply Scripture for themselves. We’re grateful to have Jared investing in the next generation of Christian leaders at Luther Rice!
