Full Job Description
We are a technology-driven accounting firm looking for a highly skilled part-time or full-time Tax Professional to join our expanding tax practice. Seasonal workers are also welcome to apply. Your responsibilities will include preparing, reviewing and analyzing tax returns and preparing financial statements.

Most of our clients are small to medium sized businesses and more involved individual tax returns. We deal with various industry groups and entity types. The role would be preparing and reviewing business and individual tax returns. It will also include a variety of tasks that related to our clients’ needs.

You should have strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation and review, tax compliance and tax research as well as possess a degree in Accounting and a CPA qualification.

Responsibilities are:

Preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, nonprofits and trusts
Organizing and analyzing client data
Year end tax projections
Conduct tax Research
Review tax returns prepared by other staff
Generating trial balances and financial statements
Communication with client to gather necessary information and provide tax and financial status
Preparing tax estimates
Requirements are:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
Knowledge in preparing multi-state returns
A good understanding of code, regulations and the ability to research various tax issues.
Technology Proficiency in both general and accounting-related applications (experience with Drake Tax, Xero/QuickBooks Online, Google Workplace and other cloud apps are a plus)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate with other members of the firm
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and prioritize assignments'
Previous work experience in Public Accounting.
Experienced in advanced tax programs, workflow, and a paperless environment.
