A few months ago, we had the privilege of learning from Rabbi Kalman Laufer on important topics related to end-of-life care. The strong interest in that session led to requests for a follow-up, hands-on workshop.

We are pleased to share that Rabbi Laufer will be returning on May 7th to lead an Advanced Directives Workshop. In this session, he will review the key concepts and guide participants through completing a legally binding advanced directive. This program serves as an important continuation of his previous lecture.

We had such a wonderful time on Yom Ha'Atzmaut. Kids and adults heard from Hillel Mordcowicz about his time serving Israel, and children learned about three of Israel's rescue missions in Yemen, Ethiopia, and the Soviet Union via a very entrepid El Al flight with activities in each country. Falafel and pizza was then enjoyed by all!
