They also worried about how other children might treat her as she grew older.

At three, Andriantso traveled with her parents from Moramanga to Tamatave for free surgery aboard the .

For her parents, the surgery brought relief and hope for their daughter’s future 💙

A meal can be more than a meal.
It can be a moment of connection, care, and welcome. 💙

At the HOPE Center, volunteers support patients throughout their recovery from admission to discharge. Sometimes, that looks like preparing and sharing a meal. Other times, it’s simply being there.

Every role matters in a patient’s journey.

Some moments start as dreams.

Then, one day, you look back through your camera roll and realize you’re living them.

The places you once hoped to see.
The people you never knew you’d meet.
The moments you never could have planned.
The memories you’ll carry with you forever.

What a privilege it is to look back and realize you’re living moments you once dreamed of 💙

Riding meant adjusting his grip and shifting his balance. At school, classmates teased him about his hand. And on the farm, gripping the tools he used to help his family was difficult.

Then, Pierre came aboard the .

Watch his journey and see what safe surgery has made possible for him 💙

Jaminatu wanted to go back to school 💙

A burn injury and the contracture that followed affected more than the movement of her left arm. Eventually, she stopped attending school and spent much of her time at home.

After surgery on board the and months of rehabilitation, Jaminatu returned to her community, looking toward the future once again.

At 13, there’s so much ahead of her and now, she can look forward to it.
