Max Kellerman agrees with Canelo Alvarez’s stance that Hamzah Sheeraz and Osleys Iglesias should fight each other before earning a shot at him.

Canelo, preparing for his September clash with Christian Mbilli, suggested the two champions settle matters first. Kellerman explained: “He’s not saying he’s ignoring Sheeraz and Iglesias. He just gave them a path. That’s not a duck. That’s about business.”

Sheeraz, however, has already dismissed the idea, saying he respects Alvarez but won’t let another fighter dictate his career. A Sheeraz‑Iglesias bout could silence critics of Sheeraz’s thin super middleweight résumé and validate Iglesias’ growing reputation as the division’s most avoided fighter.

The winner would emerge as a more marketable challenger, setting up a bigger showdown with Alvarez after Mbilli. 🥊🔥
