Our Leadership Team election was last Sunday - thank you to those who allowed their names to run on the ballot. Jenn Clark, Gale Helmink, Lindy Kurtzer, and Lincoln Pearson were reelected. The other current members are Jerome Barry, Paul Patzel, Linda Scheffert, and Brett Wilson. We are so thankful for this team! Please, be in prayer for them as they make decisions in the weeks and months ahead.

Annual elections for the 2026-2027 Church Leadership Team are this Sunday, May 3rd, before & after the morning Worship Service. All church members aged 15 & over are encouraged to participate.

Check out the Lincoln Marathon info below to help plan your route to church this Sunday.

Ready to race?? The 49th Lincoln Marathon and Half Marathon is on Sunday. These are the maps you’ll want to save for details about the starting line, full course and finish line.

The race starts at 14th and Vine Streets at 6:55 a.m. on May 3. Lincoln Police are working closely with our partner agencies to prepare throughout the week and on Race Day. As you’re planning, remember there will be various road closures during the marathon. It’s a team effort to make this a fun and memorable day for our racers with minimal impact on the community.

Road openings and race day photos will be posted LIVE on so make sure to follow us on X. If you’re not participating, grab a seat along the route and cheer on everyone who has put in so much work to prepare for Sunday. 🏃‍♂️👨‍🦽🚶‍♂️

PRAISE GOD, HE IS RISEN! This Monday morning let it be a reminder the that we are currently living in the resurrection of Christ, and everyday we should live our lives as a celebration of that reality☀️ In John 21 the disciples went back to their occupations and lives before Christ because it’s what they knew, it’s what was comfortable. Then Jesus encountered them on the beach and SENT them. 🕊️ The Spirit was PRESENT this Sunday and the church had a real encounter with the Living Jesus! Now be SENT! Be sent into your jobs, homes, families, schools, relationships, as part of the testimony of Jesus Christ. ✝️

The prophecy of the Suffering Servant, found in Isaiah 53. Just a few of the 300+ prophecies He fulfilled throughout His life here on earth, but this is not shocking. It is not shocking that as foretold in Isaiah, He was pierced by a Roman soldier. Or as foretold in Exodus, He acted as the sacrificial lamb on our behalf, His blood shed to shield us from death. Or as foretold in 2nd Samuel, He would come from the line of David. Or as foretold in Jeremiah, and Malachi, and Daniel, and Numbers, and Genesis; He was who the Lord always said He would be. It is not shocking, because when the King speaks a word, it’s as good as done. As we look to Sunday, let us not forget the prophecy we live in now. As foretold in Revelation 22, the Lord is alive, and He shall return. So be it God.

We’re so grateful for the excitement around tomorrow’s Bunny Bruch event. After carefully considering the forecasted cold and wind, we’ve decided to cancel for this year.

Our heart is always to create a space that’s welcoming and enjoyable for families, and with the current conditions, we know that wouldn’t be the case.
