Stephanie Thorson, this week's Summer Standout, embodies leadership in her work for 4-H in Douglas-Sarpy Counties and across the state!
In 2025, Stephanie dedicated hundreds of hours to teaching over 7,000 youth about STEM, college and career readiness, and health. Stephanie approaches every teaching opportunity with the intention of creating the next generation of leaders, and there's a rapidly growing network of volunteers, interns and teen mentors to serve as proof of her successes.
We thank Stephanie for her innovation and mentorship! Stop by the Douglas-Sarpy Office sometime and ask Stephanie about her national awards (when she's not teaching of course 😉)
