Are your kids in these apps? Do you know what they are up to and who they are talking to?
We wish these were the only headlines, but unfortunately there are so many more.
The dangers are not “far off” or hypothetical, they are very real and our children and youth need us to be aware and having the very REAL and INTENTIONAL conversations with them.
Many parents are unaware or intentionally ignorant of the risks they are willingly handing over to their children. It’s not up to our kids to figure this out though— it’s OUR JOB to know and to put the safeguards in place to keep them safe.

A little insight into what a school resource officer is seeing more often than he should.
S*x trafficking is changing along with the times, and now the threats start in OUR HOMES with the devices in our kids hands.
The more we talk about it, the better we can recognize the signs.
If you are a parent, know the risks and talk to your kids often! Have rules and boundaries. Unfettered access to devices is a slippery slope with consequences far darker than most parents imagine.

Transportation is such a transformational part of the empowerment process. It brings physical freedom. Freedom to drive her kids to daycare. Freedom to drive to work or to get groceries.
Thank you to our partner A1 automotive for making this happen for our client. Days like these make all the hard days worth it.
