A batch of Face Shield parts & Surgical Mask Strap Extenders headed to Nebraska Innovation Studio today. Huge shout out to the team out there for helping to organize this effort. Today’s batch of 3D printed face shield parts headed out to local area hospitals. Thanks again to Nebraska Innovation Studio for helping organize this effort!
All three of our 3D printers are being utilized today! The first round of face shield parts are coming off the FDM printer. These parts will be going to Bryan Health here in Lincoln. Big shout out to the folks at Nebraska Innovation Studio for helping to organize this effort! We are also test printing masks on our two SLA printers. If you know of any additional ways that ATS might be able to help with the supply chain shortages as a result of COVID-19, please email Jeffrey Heimgartner at [email protected]

ATS, a division of CapStone Technologies, has partnered with UNL’s Innovation Studio to help 3D print face shield parts for area hospitals in response to Covid-19. We are currently helping to print the Face Shield Frame and Face Shield Top shown below. Parts finished this week will be going to UNMC.
