School's out, but feeding children doesn’t take a summer break. Meet Nebraska For Us at Meadowlark Coffee & Espresso (1624 South Street in Lincoln NE), on Tuesday, June 16 between 11 AM-1 PM for a community food drive supporting children and working families facing rising prices this summer. Coffee will be offered on Nebraska For Us for supporters making donations.
We’re collecting: 🥜 Peanut butter 🥣 Cereal, nuts, and granola bars 🍓 Canned fruit and vegetables 🧴 Hygiene items and more.
All donations will go to the Food Bank Of Lincoln and Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach.
Every donation helps fill the gap when school meals are unavailable. We hope to see you there!

Thanks to a big assist from our friends at Hudl, our on-site Hope Garden is fully planted and growing!

If your garden produces more fruits and vegetables than you can use this summer, we'd love to share your harvest with our guests. Donations of fresh produce are accepted Monday through Friday and distributed through our Fresh Choice Pantry, helping provide healthy, nutritious food for neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

The summer heat isn't the only thing climbing. 📈☀️ Visits to our Fresh Choice Pantry have more than doubled this year and onsite meals are up nearly 10%. Thanks to generous community support and awesome volunteers, our dining room and pantry doors are open to anyone facing food insecurity.

A special thanks to Union Bank & Trust for volunteering in our pantry every week and helping make fresh, nutritious food available to those who need it most. Those smiles brighten everyone's day!

Proud to be part of this neighborhood and grateful for the opportunity to lend a hand. Thank you to all the volunteers who spent the morning caring for neighbors and our shared spaces - especially you heavy lifters! 💪
