From fixed media to funk band, this concert is going to be a tsunami of musical talent you won’t want to miss!

TONIGHT at 7:30pm in WMB 119, an action-packed concert chock-full of world premieres from UNL’s composition students!

Our concert, “Treading Water” includes pieces by Teder, Hayes, Christensen, Smith, Avig, Smith, Buettner, selene, Collette, LeBouef, and Jacobsen!

Open to all GKSOM students! Our second annual 72-hour composition festival is here. 72 hours before the concert, participants will be given 24 hours to write a 90-second piece inspired by an assigned artwork at Sheldon Museum of Art.

TOMORROW at 12:30! UNL students will be premiering 9 pieces by 7 different UNL composers at the LUX Center for the Arts! All of the pieces are inspired by the artwork of Maggy Rozycki Hiltner, whose quilts will be displayed in front of the performers.
