Making Lemon-Aid
Making Lemon-Aid is a movement of people like you who believe it’s possible to turn something sour –
Let’s open up the windows and let the light in for the exploited and vulnerable girls. Let’s take a stand and say, nope. Not our girls. Not in our neighborhoods. Not in our watch.
Learn more about the beautiful mission and heart behind our Refuge Campus for girls.

We are excited to watch the Refuge Campus come to life and value the collaboration with our law enforcement partners!
Today, Chief Deputy Houchin and law enforcement partners came together to discuss the Refuge Campus—an initiative led by Making Lemon-Aid, dedicated to supporting victims of s*x trafficking. This campus exists not only to provide safety, but to help restore what trauma has tried to take—dignity, identity, and hope.
Serving girls across Nebraska and surrounding states, the Refuge Campus offers a path toward healing for those who might otherwise go without the care and support they need.💛🍋

The HEART of our work?
Imago Dei 🤍
Every girl is made in the image of God — Imago Dei — and carries inherent worth, dignity, and purpose.
Today, that truth has a home.
Our campus has been acquired — a true refuge — for girls who once had no place for hope, now have a refuge.
This will be more than a property.
It will be a place where healing begins and futures are restored. 🤍

One of our favorite moments from Sunday's event was recognizing our champions, Millie & Sophia.
The Rebel Champion Award honors students who inspire others and demonstrate hope, courage and leadership in the face of significant challenges. Both of these young ladies received a $500 scholarship and recognition. Millie & Sophia, God sees YOU and loves YOU!
