Making a maple desk. The young ladies favorite color is teal. There was a cool board I had for the front and dint want it to be obscured by a handle, so found push to open drawer slides! They are made by Salice purchased from Woodworker Express. They use similar, if not the same dimebsiobs, as Blum slides.
I was able to finish wrapping builder grade pine with walnut planks all from the same log. It was a cool process to get from the entire log to the finished product.

The beam console is finished and delivered. This is the third project for this client. So appreciative for their patronage!
Thought the wood was oak initially, I now believe it to be birch or chestnut. The only thing I am positive on is the absolute heavy weight of this piece.
