A summer highlight ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This summer, the Kappas have been making memories, exploring new places, and making a difference around the world. 🌎🩵

Today, JULIA RADU (PC ’24) shares her experience volunteering in Costa Rica alongside fellow Kappas. We are so proud of the impact these women are making through service and leadership!

“The past three weeks we’ve had the opportunity to volunteer at a nursing home in Costa Rica. We spent time taking care of residents, helping with daily activities, and providing companionship. This experience allowed us to engage with a different culture and to serve the community. We learned about healthcare in a different environment and how to overcome language barriers. It was rewarding to see how small acts of kindness and conversation could brighten someone’s day, and it reinforced the importance of service, empathy, and building meaningful relationships. In our down time, we spent time at the beach, zip lining, and exploring Costa Rica. The memories I’ve made with the girls are some I will truly cherish for a lifetime! “
