ARC for Lima

ommunity of Lima, Ohio USA with the same dedication to investing in our children. Our focus is on education, health and well being of children. Previous projects - South Africa:

NHLENGELO PRIMARY SCHOOL: In partnership with the community of White City, the Timbavati Private Nature Preserve, the Board of Education, and the Mnisi Tribal Office, ARC facilitated, funded and constructed a new primary school which serves more than 250 learners. The project included bringing water and electricity to the site; two buildings housing 8 classrooms, a medical clinic that provides weekly medical care for our students; a kitchen; a community gathering shelter; a toilet block and sanitation; fencing and a playground. ARC has also funded school uniforms and supplies for children in the Mpumalanga Province and provided funding for food distribution to families in the Acornhoek region during the 2020 COVID crisis. We have turned our attention and efforts to supporting the children in our own Lima, Ohio Area Community. Support of local schools and agencies that work tirelessly to create better lives and opportunities for our children is where we put our current resources. We have fulfilled needs for a local homeless shelter - from steel toed boots to essential clothing. We supply school supplies for annual Back to School events. And our latest effort, Project Uniform Share, provides uniform and essential clothing items for school kids. ARC is Empowering People and Changing Lives in the Lima region.
