Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀
Today’s reminder: luck is great… but preparation, persistence, and strong relationships? That’s the real gold at the end of the rainbow.
Whether you’re celebrating with your team or just wearing a little green between meetings, take a moment to appreciate the opportunities you’ve created.

You can feel it in a meeting. In a handshake. In a conversation that just clicks.
Trust isn’t tracked on a spreadsheet. It’s sensed. And professionals who pay attention to that instinct often make better decisions, build stronger teams, and create healthier cultures.

Our Allen Lima Leadership adult class had an incredible day diving into workforce development and leadership during our Workforce Session hosted by OhioMeansJobs Allen County.
A big thank-you to Joe Patton and the OhioMeansJobs Allen County team for welcoming our class with breakfast, an insightful overview of the organization’s work, and a behind-the-scenes tour highlighting how they connect people, employers, and opportunity across our region.
The group also had the unique chance to tour the Wilson Football Factory, home of the official game-day footballs for Super Bowl 60, and hear from Kasey Patton of Wilson Sporting Goods, who shared the story behind the craftsmanship and innovation that go into every ball. 🏈
Following lunch provided by OhioMeansJobs, the class continued the day with Leadership Development led by Kendra Nickel, before wrapping up with a collaborative Impact Project Huddle, where participants continued planning initiatives designed to make a meaningful difference in our community.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this day of learning, leadership, and connection possible! 👏

More sunlight after work? Yes, please!
Daylight Saving Time is here, which means brighter evenings, longer walks, patio meetings, and maybe even a little extra motivation to crush those goals.
Let’s make the most of the longer days ahead.

Trust isn’t built by waiting. It’s built by going first, by giving responsibility, believing in your team, and creating space for people to step up.
Yes, it’s a risk. But it’s also how strong teams are formed.
Where have you chosen to trust first in your career?

We want to know how we can support and engage you in 2026 and beyond. Will you please share your thoughts by taking our survey?
https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/8570382/allencounty&source=socmedia
Why this survey?
We at the Allen County Museum care deeply about making the history and culture we share with you, our community, and our visitors, meaningful.
But we need your help. We want to better understand our visitors' different needs and values so we can best serve you. Museums (like ours!) strive to encourage and expand learning while also addressing the challenges facing our society, and we need to hear your thoughts.
To do this, we are participating in a national survey of museum-goers, sponsored by the American Alliance of Museums. This survey will provide us with data from our visitors, as well as from visitors to museums nationwide, helping us be more effective in the coming months and in the communities we serve.
The survey only takes about 9 minutes to complete, but in those 9 minutes you will help our team make better decisions for our future. And as a thank you there will be an opportunity for you to win one of ten $100 Visa gift cards!
Simply go to: https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/8570382/allencounty&source=socmedia
Thank you in advance for your time and thoughts!

How to challenge effectively (even when you have less power)
How to challenge effectively (even when you have less power) “He who has learned to disagree without being disagreeable has discovered the most valuable secret of diplomacy.”- Robert EstabrookChallenging others’ ideas can be, well… challenging.

“There’s a difference between offering a service and being willing to serve.”
One is transactional. The other is transformational.
Professionals can deliver results all day long, but the ones who truly stand out are the ones who care, who lean in, who go a little further because they want to make a difference. That’s generosity in action.
