ATTENTION PET PARENTS: NEW WELLNESS REQUIREMENTS:
All Daycare & Boarding Guests must be on active Flea & Heartworm Prevention to maintain a safe, healthy, and itch-free environment for all of our furry guests, effective immediately, all dogs attending daycare or boarding must be up-to-date on monthly flea and heartworm preventatives. Before your pet’s next scheduled stay, please provide proof of prevention or confirm your current medication schedule at check-in.
⚠️ Why This Matters for Shared spaces when dogs play, rest, and share outdoor spaces together, parasites can spread easily. Keeping every guest on a prevention plan protects your dog, preserves a clean facility, and ensures no one brings home unwanted "hitchhikers".🦟 1. The Critical Importance of Heartworm PreventionThe Threat: Heartworms are transmitted by a single mosquito bite. Just one infected mosquito entering our indoor or outdoor play zones can put unprotected dogs at risk. The Impact: Unlike surface pests, heartworms live inside your dog's heart and lungs, causing permanent organ damage and life-threatening illness. The Solution: Consistent, monthly preventative medications are highly effective and kill immature larvae before they can grow into dangerous adult worms.🪰 2. The Critical Importance of Flea PreventionThe Threat: Fleas are highly contagious surface parasites that jump quickly from pet to pet during close contact and group play. The Impact: An infestation causes painful scratching, skin infections, hair loss, and allergic reactions. Furthermore, fleas rapidly lay eggs that can contaminate the shared environment. The Solution: Continuous flea control stops adult bugs from biting and prevents eggs or larvae from developing in shared bedding and play yards.

✅ Pre-Check-In Checklist Verify Your Product: Make sure your chosen medication covers both fleas and heartworms, as some popular products only target one or the other. Log Your Dates: Note the date of your pet's last dose so you can quickly fill out our updated intake forms. Consult Your Vet: If you need a refill or aren't sure which product is best for group care, please reach out to your veterinarian. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our pack happy, healthy, and safe! If you have any questions about acceptable brands or documentation, please speak with our front desk staff.

Excited to say we made the TOP 5 in The Lima News Regions Best for grooming and daycare/boarding. Voting is open now until 9/27/26! Huge thanks to all our supporters!
