AXIS Quizzing

Hey friends around the Lima/Allen County area! We have an opportunity this Saturday to raise money for the teens of Lima Community Church via a paint recycling fundraiser. If you have leftover cans/jugs of latex* paint sitting in your closet/basement that you would like to get rid of, please consider donating them to our fundraiser. We will take them off your hands at $2 per gallon can and then recycle it through a paint recycling company. Quizzers are working hard to raise money for their national convention in California this summer. We greatly appreciate whatever donations you are willing to make toward this effort.

Just now realizing I never posted on here about Q. Oops! 😅

About a month ago, we took 11 teens to Q2022 at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. We had an awesome time. Our novice and experienced teams did amazing and we had several of our quizzers place high individually. Our local experienced A team, Lima Axis A, won the national championship which was super exciting! Our teens represented Lima well not only in their success but also in their sportsmanship. We are so proud of them and will never forget how amazing this past quizzing year as been. That being said, we will miss our seniors —Delaney and Will—but are excited for their next journey in life! (And excited for them to coach and quizmaster now, too😆).

We had such a fun time at quiz camp! We did lots of swimming, dance parties, capture the flag, and quizzing.

So proud of our teens today! We had a Quizzing demonstration on stage during the youth-led service today, plus two of our quizzers doing announcements and some doing worship!

What a great weekend. Lima Quizzing placed first and third in the local team division, and our Northwest Ohio district teams also had three first place teams. So proud of all of our quizzers! Go go NWO💚
