Bath HS Interact Club

Student volunteers log 1,800 hours through Bath Interact Club The Bath High School Interact Club logged more than 1,800 volunteer hours this year while supporting numerous community events. Members were recognized for their service, with three seniors receiving scholarships

Today the Rotary Club of Lima acknowledged the students that achieved 24 or more volunteer hours for the school year. The club had 46 students that volunteered a combined total of 1800 hours this school year!!
Well done!!!

Today the club did our annual "Click It or Ticket" event. Students, parents, and even the high school staff were checked for seatbelts. Those that were buckled up got a coupon donated by Jerry Lewis McDonald's. Those that weren't got a "Ticket".
The good news is that we didn't have to hand out too many "Tickets". 😁

These students were at it again today.
Another day they were off school, and this group was out giving to others!
Today they were at the West Ohio Food Bank helping with their distribution. They sorted food and helped give it to the individuals that were at the food bank. The people and workers at the food bank were very appreciative of all the hard work that this group put in!

Today these young adults were at it again putting Service Above Self.
Today we helped with the Ottawa River Coalition Fish Fry.
The students did it ALL! Breaded fish, whiped down tables, made "To Go" orders and when done they continued to ask "What's Next?"
OH, did I mention that these kids decided to come out and volunteer on their day off from school!!

Last night the club had our biggest fundraiser of the year, our annual Father/Daughter Dance. It was a great time! We had about 20 kids give up about 6 hours of their time on a Saturday to help decorate, run, and clean up a great event!
We had about 200 dads, grandpas, uncles, and other male adults bring their young ladies to the dance.
Big thanks to Rotary Club of Lima for being our sponsor for the event along with many other businesses and individuals for donating raffle items!

The Bath HS Interact Club is hosting the annual Father Daughter Dance this weekend !!

Tonight the club helped out Family Promise with their 10th annual Valentine's banquet! The kids helped set up the tables, serve the food, and even stayed later than originally planned to help tear down tables and chairs!
Lots of good things coming up for this great group!!

Been a busy couple days for this group. Last night the students helped the Rotary Club of Lima with their Flip the Switch event. The kids dressed as Christmas characters, did face painting, and helped where needed for this big community event. So busy that, we didn't have a chance to take many pictures.
Then today, not only do these kids work hard they play hard as well! We had our annual Friendsgiving event. This is our annual pitch in. It was great to see a bunch of high school students embrace their inner middle schooler by playing "Kick and Get"! Big thanks to Grace Baptist Church for letting us use your family center and to Kewpee for giving us a deal for the burgers!!!

Today the students helped out Forest Park United Methodist Church at their Upwards Basketball tryouts. It was a small group, but they did a great job supporting the young children trying out. They showed patience and kindness to all of them!
