And while construction continues, so does Club life. Our pool deck, dining, fitness center, tennis, marina, social events and more remain available for our members to enjoy throughout the redevelopment.

Almost 25 years of working together, and THIS is the prize.

With demolition underway at LHPYC, owners and developers Terry Paterson and Jessica Easterling took a quick break from the plans, meetings, and work happening behind the scenes to get in on the action and give our demolition professionals a short break.

After years of planning and working toward this transformation, getting behind the controls and taking down a piece of the old clubhouse themselves made this long-awaited milestone a little more fun.

For our members who have been patiently waiting alongside us: demolition is moving, the team is hard at work, and progress is happening every day. And yes… Terry and Jessica are enjoying this part just a little too much.

Now, back to it—there’s still plenty of work to do and a new Club to build.

The best part? We can finally say: IT’S HAPPENING!

Demolition continues at LHPYC, and after years of planning, patience, perseverance, and anticipation, watching this long-awaited transformation begin is something special.

Every truck leaving the property and every piece of the old clubhouse coming down brings us one step closer to the future we’ve spent years imagining.

We’re grateful for everyone who believed in the vision, stayed patient throughout the process, and continued moving forward with us.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but after years of talking about what’s to come, we’re incredibly excited to finally be underway.
