We had so much fun at this week's Makerspace: Art-chaeology! Families made Song Dynasty inspired “silk” fans and learned about ancient Chinese civilizations. Many thanks to Cristian and Mia for modeling their projects.

This week, Library Director Christy Keyes was honored to speak on leadership skills at the Florida Library Association's annual conference. It was a privilege to share best practices and represent the City of Lighthouse Point at this statewide event. Many thanks to co-presenter Jami Hommerbocker and FLA President Allison Grubbs for their ongoing support.

Thank you to the 260+ residents who came out on Saturday to celebrate the completion of library construction at “Wild About the Library.” Guests enjoyed wildlife shows, a scavenger hunt, crafts, therapy dogs, treats, and prizes. Your support and enthusiasm made the event a wonderful success!
