No purchase or Library Card required! Just come by and fill out a ticket. The winner will be drawn after August 31st.
At these locations and times, come out to the Bookmobile to read, check out books, drop off returns, or even just say hi to our driver. Don't have a library card? You can sign up for one at the Bookmobile! All stops are on Thursdays, and repeat every two weeks.

Songs, books, and activities for toddlers and preschoolers!

Bring your littles to the library at whichever time works best for you - 9:30AM or 5:30PM - for a world of learning and fun! Library Littles always has a storytime, but it’s also so much more. Every week will present your kiddos with something new, like songs and dances to promote gross motor skills, crafts to practice creativity and fine motor skills, and other fun and educational activities!

-Geared towards Toddlers and Preschoolers
-Sign-ups not required
-All supplies provided, but it’s suggested to wear play clothes in case we have a messy craft or snack
-Every Thursday at 9:30AM and 5:30PM

D-D-D-Dino Dance Party! 🪩

The Summer Reading theme this year is Dinosaurs, and the Library Littles aren't shy about celebrating! After we read our story book for the week, "One More Dino on the Floor", we shut off the lights, turned up the music, and danced our hearts out. There's no shortage of fun with the Library Littles!

Please be aware that your Casey County Public Library will be closed on Saturday, July 4th for Independence Day. Have a great weekend!

🦖Summer Reading: Dino Double Day

Whether you're already earning points with Minute Mania or if you're new to the program, you have a chance to earn DOUBLE points!

Come into the Library on Tuesday, June 30th and read anything you or your child likes for double points! Points can then be spent right away or saved up to buy prizes from the prize cabinet.

Reading logs can be picked up at the Front Desk.

Play everyone’s favorite game of chance: Bingo!

The Library Littles got to test out some possible dream jobs!

Recently, our Library Littles group received visits from some fantastic volunteers in our community. We worked on our "cars" with a mechanic (Daniel Baker), "drove" a fire engine with a fire fighter (Chuck Dorman), made chalk art with an artist (Nicki Kemarly), made piggy banks with a banker (Todd Harne), read to a buddy with a librarian (Taylor Tucker), and cleaned "teeth" with a dentist (Dr. White, White Smiles Dentistry)!

Come and learn to play Mahjong at the Library!

We're excited to announce that we now have the opportunity to open our monthly Mahjong group to beginner players! Our next open play night will be Wednesday, July 15th, and will be open to both experienced players and those who have never played before. For those who need to learn how to play, we request that you sign up ahead of time so that we can plan for the amount of new players we'll have.
