And here’s the finished version of the size 16.5 wide band Morgan. It’s a statement piece for sure! To me, these rings represent a glimpse of the Wild West. A single dollar may have been an entire day’s wage for someone looking to build their version of the American dream.

Yesterday I posted a size 7.5 Wide Band Morgan Dollar ring. In contrast, here’s a size 16.5 that I made today. That’s a bit of a difference, eh!

These beauties are headed off to Arizona today! They’re the 10mm version of my Morgan Silver Dollar rings in a polished finish. These are in size 7 and 10.

Here’s the finished version! It’s off to its new home.

This one fought hard… but it finally gave in! It’s a wide band (13mm) Morgan Dollar ring in a size 7.5. It’s difficult to keep the walls of the ring straight at that size. In terms of details, it’s important to me that the entire word, “Liberty” is present. This ring will get a quick acid bath, a spin in the tumbler, and then finished with a patina that will help draw out the details.

Here’s a beautiful 2024 1 oz American Gold Eagle coin that I handcrafted into a ring. It’s got a satin finish, with polished edges. At 29 grams of 22k gold, it has an inherent value to match its beauty.

What a privilege to be part of this neat couple’s special day! I made his wedding ring out of a 1/2 oz Gold Eagle Coin. All my best to them as they celebrate 2024 a little different this year!!

There’s just something neat about wearing one of these Gold American Eagle coin rings. I use a 1 oz gold coin, and shape it to the ring you see here. The final weight of these rings are 29 grams of 22k gold. As the price of gold increases, these rings actually appreciate in value!
