In a lot of my personal photo work, I always am on the look out for places that could mean something or bring back a memory for someone. In my life, the mall is a place that had a lot of value for me growing up. I went there all the time with friends. I had dates there. A lot of memories were made hanging out at the mall.
Recently, I went to the Richmond Mall in Richmond, KY to check out an older mall. The mall, like so many around the country, has seen its shopping days go away. Online retailers and big box stores have help contribute to its shopping decline. However, the mall is still open and seems to be in the process of converting into government and standard business offices
I was able to photograph some of the old parts of the mall that were still around as well as some of the converted areas. This mall is like so many, still around but much different from the way it used to be. Here are some of the photographs I managed to capture.

I recently had the chance to travel to Chicago and was able to take some amazing photographs of the city. I took so many photos of everything around the city. It also gave me the chance to do some street photography as well. Here is my favorite street shots from the trip.

One of the best local places in Lexington is closing its doors after 30 years. CD Central is one of the coolest record stores that I ever got to hang out in. I can really credit the store with helping me get discover great music and for being the sole reason I have a huge vinyl collection today! Places like CD Central don't come around often. They will be missed! The last photo in this album is of the last vinyl record I ever bought at the store.
Here are some last pictures I took of the place last week.
