One of the great lies of Obergefell is that fathers are replaceable, but this isn't true. God created men and women differently and one of the main ways these differences express themselves is in parenting. That's why fathers and mothers are irreplaceable. A woman cannot be a father. Children need their fathers.
As we lead up to Father's day, The Family Foundation and the Greater Than Campaign want to remind society of the importance of fathers. God has given them an essential role in their children's lives and the void left by an absent father cannot be filled. Fatherlessness is at the root of almost every social ill in our culture. Because of that, over these next few days, we want to praise God and thank him for the fathers He's given us.

Let Us Pray: The Incredible Gift of Fatherhood
“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” – Ephesians 6:4
Father’s Day is this Sunday. On this special day, Americans will gather with their families to celebrate God’s incredible gift of fatherhood. Biblically faithful fathers who strongly and lovingly lead their families in the ways of the Lord are what America needs now, more than ever.
For the United States to prosper, fathers must fulfill their biblical calling to care for their families and children spiritually, physically, and emotionally. As the late pastor, author, and theologian Voddie Baucham powerfully stated, "It has been said that as goes the family, so goes the world. It can also be said that as goes the father, so goes the family."
We must remember that every child has the right and the need to have a father and mother. Fathers aren’t optional or interchangeable – a father gives a child something no one else can. Unfortunately, since the 2015 Obergefell Supreme Court decision, which nationally legalized so-called “gay marriage,” these fundamental rights for children have been violated at increasing levels. By definition, children in same-sex couple households are robbed of having a mother and father. God ordained marriage as society’s foundational institution, and it is the ideal union to raise, guide, and care for children.
With a goal of promoting the right of every child to have a mother and father and to ultimately overturn the disastrous Obergefell decision, The Family Foundation recently joined the Greater Than Campaign with a coalition of more than 50 other state and national organizations. The campaign’s central belief is the belief that children’s needs are greater than adult desires. It is essential for a child’s stability, identity, safety, and flourishing to be raised by both a mother and a father.
On this Father’s Day, let us thank God for the fathers across our nation who fulfill their biblical calling to lead and love their families in a God-honoring way. Also, on this Father’s Day, let us commit to working to build a culture where every child has a right to a mother and a father.
LET US PRAY…
Father, we praise You for the incredible blessing of Fatherhood and ask You to empower fathers across our nation to care for their families in a way that honors You. Lord, please comfort those who have lost their earthly father and are grieving on this day. Father, we pray that the Greater Than campaign will lead to the overturning of Obergefell and ensure that every child has the right to a mother and a father. Father, we thank You for being our perfect heavenly Father who takes care of us, loves us, and provides for us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Jesse Ridgway and his wife aborted their son because a test said he had Down Syndrome. But a child's value does not come from a test. All children are made in the image of God.

Let Us Pray: Male Dominates Girls in California Track Meet
“Do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight, so that it may go well with you and you may go in and take over the good land the Lord promised on oath to your ancestors.” – Deuteronomy 6:18
When men are allowed to compete in women’s sports, women lose. Men have stolen scholarships, medals, championships, privacy, and more from the women and girls who rightfully deserve them.
We are reminded of this again with Jurupa Valley High School in California. It was here that AB Hernandez, a 16‑year‑old male, dominated the female competitors at the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) state final track and field meet. Hernandez placed first in the high jump and triple jump, along with placing third in the long jump.
This isn’t surprising. Last year, Hernandez competed against women athletes and dominated them in the CIF state track and field championships. The outcome of that meet was exactly the same as this year; Hernandez placed first in the girls’ high jump and triple jump.
Just a week ago, the CIF implemented a new rule that allowed female athletes to receive medals representing where they would have placed if Hernandez had not competed. In addition, the real champions of the women’s high and long jump competitions, had to share the 1st place podium with Hernandez.
It is past time for this lunacy to stop. It’s also another reminder of why we must prayerfully be looking towards the U.S. Supreme Court issuing a decision this month in the high-profile cases over state Save Women’s Sports laws. The Supreme Court’s decision on this case will likely have far-reaching implications across the country on state laws keeping men out of women’s sports, including here in Kentucky.
LET US PRAY…
Father, please give each member of the Supreme Court Your wisdom and empower them to rule in this important case to protect women’s sports. Lord, may states across our nation, including here in Kentucky, be allowed to protect female athletes and sports from radical transgender ideology. Father, strengthen us to always stand strong for what is right and good in Your sight. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Since the Dobbs decision, the number of abortions have increased across the country, including Kentucky. This shows us that the culture of death isn't going away. Pro-lifers have a duty to stop them.

: Cleveland Clinic to End Gender Mutilation of Children
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” – Psalm 147:3
Just a few weeks ago, it was announced that Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH), which is the largest pediatric hospital in the nation, would create the nation’s first-ever detransition clinic. The hospital’s detransition clinic will provide multifaceted care to children who were subjected to damaging gender "transition" procedures.
Now, following in similar steps, the Department of Justice (DOJ) just announced that the Cleveland Clinic has reached a settlement with its agency and with Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, after the results of a national investigation showed that the clinic violated federal law in connection with sex-rejecting procedures on minors. The settlement requires the Cleveland Clinic to immediately stop sex-rejecting procedures, so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors, and provide care for victims of the damaging and mutilating “transgender” medical interventions.
Furthermore, the clinic must commit $2 million to provide real medical care to those who have been harmed by chemical and surgical transgender mutilation procedures. The DOJ press release stated the “Cleveland Clinic has also agreed to pay a monetary penalty and, in a landmark commitment, dedicate additional millions to help provide essential medical care for individuals living with the harmful consequences of such misguided medical interventions performed on them as children and adolescents (i.e., “detransitioners”).”
As this is now the second of its kind agreement for detransitioners, we can hope that this is truly the start of bringing a conclusive end to the barbaric practices known as “gender-affirming care.” It is heartening to see hospitals that were once head deep in pushing an ideology revert back to their initial purpose to follow real medical science to bring healing, and not harm, to people.
LET US PRAY…
Father, we praise You for the Justice Department’s work on behalf of those who have been damaged from gender transition procedures. Lord, may this truly be the beginning of the end of hospitals being run by radical ideologies and not by real medical science based in biological reality. Father, thank You for creating each one of us, male or female, in Your image. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
On today's episode, David & Greg discuss reports showing a continued increase in abortions across the nation, including a significant increase in Kentucky. They also discuss the gut-wrenching story of YouTube influencers who recently announced they had aborted their baby after a Down Syndrome diagnosis.

: YouTube Influencer Aborts Baby After Down Syndrome Diagnosis
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” – Genesis 1:27
Prominent YouTube personality and influencer Jesse Ridgway and his wife, Ashley, announced in March on their social media platforms that they were expecting their first child. On May 27th, on Jesse’s personal YouTube channel, the couple shared the results of an amniocentesis test, which is used to detect genetic disorders, birth defects, and chromosomal abnormalities.
The couple learned some difficult news concerning their baby from the results of the test, as it revealed that their child had preliminary markers for Trisomy 21, which is commonly referred to as Down Syndrome. The test revealed that their baby had a 95% chance of having Down Syndrome. Ridgway stated that after the test, he was “shocked but optimistic.”
Days later, following the results of the test, Jesse put out a post on social media, evidently after doing research on people with Down syndrome, noting the difficulties of life those with Down Syndrome experience. He quoted stats, such as 50% of Down Syndrome babies have heart defects, more than half of Down Syndrome babies have hearing and vision loss, and that Down Syndrome is the most common genetic cause of intellectual disability.
Jesse went on to say, “Down Syndrome isn’t a ‘blessing’… I didn’t realize just how rough it is for the child, let alone the family … more often than not, they would be fully dependent on others for the rest of their life.” On June 3rd, heartbreakingly, Jesse announced on Instagram that the couple had decided to terminate the life of their own baby calling it a “difficult decision.” Unfortunately, there is a growing trend of what can rightly be described as eugenics taking place across the globe that is seeing unborn babies diagnosed with Down Syndrome being aborted at disturbingly high levels.
As we evaluate this gut-wrenching situation, it must be stated that every life from the moment of conception has intrinsic worth and dignity as all are image-bearers of Almighty God, regardless of any defects or deformities. Due to that truth, every child should be given every chance to live, as life is a blessing from God. Simply put, no child should be murdered because of the possibility that their life may have difficulties due to physical or intellectual disorders.
LET US PRAY…
Father, please help our nation as a collective whole to understand the truth that every human being at the point of conception has intrinsic worth and value as You have made them in Your image. Lord, please bring Jesse and Ashley Ridgway to a place of repentance for terminating their child. Father, empower us to be courageous in our stand for the dignity of all human life, no matter the physical or intellectual disabilities one might have. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
