🐻💙 Bowman Bear has been hard at work getting ready for our Foam Frenzy Fun Run!

Tomorrow, students will get a sneak peek of a special video featuring Bowman Bear tackling the course, showing off some moves, taking a few water breaks, and having lots of fun along the way. We couldn't resist sharing it with the rest of our Bowman community too!

We hope you'll join us on Tuesday, June 3, from 1:45–3:00 PM to cheer on our runners, encourage our kids, and help make this a memorable afternoon. Bring your smiles, your enthusiasm, and your loudest cheers - we'd love to see our Bowman community lining the course and rooting for every child as they run, laugh, and make memories together.

Just a handful of days until our first Bowman Foam Frenzy Fun Run, and things are coming together nicely! The T-Shirts arrived and they look fabulous. Thanks to our corporate sponsors and wonderful families who donated, we are giving away every student a free T-Shirt.

The Big Reveal!

Our school was thrilled to receive a Lexington Education Foundation (Lexington Education Foundation) School Community Grant to host an artist-in-residence experience at Bowman, which happened in April. Lexington resident, former Bowman parent, and artist, Sharon Swan of Rollerbird Designs, designed these two custom murals that will be installed in the Bowman Library and in Ms. Altidor’s office.

This project was a true community effort! Bowman staff voted to select the mural designs and students took the lead in choosing the color palettes. To ensure students were part of the creative process, Sharon set up a temporary studio at Bowman for ten days. Classes had the opportunity to observe her at work, gaining a firsthand look at how a professional artist transforms an initial concept into a large-scale masterpiece.
