Central Kentucky Riding for Hope is a non-profit organization providing Equine-Assisted Activities. Ability…Not Disability is the CKRH way!
Central Kentucky Riding for Hope (CKRH) is a multi-faceted organization dedicated to improving the quality of life and health of children and adults with special physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs through therapeutic activities with horses. Equine assisted activities and therapies provide independence, achievement and community to the individuals that we serve.

Don’t miss out — this year’s event is shaping up to be totally electric.
Stay tuned to our event page for behind‑the‑scenes sneak peeks as we count down to the big night.
Our Spring Session was packed with fun, laughter, and a little bit of “we don’t want it to end.” From trail rides through the sunshine, to pirate‑themed adventures, to Minis on the Move visits, our riders spent the spring full of confidence and big smiles.
It’s always bittersweet to wrap up a session — we love watching our participants grow, connect, and shine each week. But the good news is… summer is right around the corner.
We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for Summer Camps and our Summer Session. More horses, more memories, and more moments that make CKRH such a special place.
Here’s to an amazing spring and an even better summer ahead.
Lunch time at CKRH!
One of the things we love most about partnering with McCauley’s is their ability to customize feed plans for every horse in our program. With a herd as diverse as ours — from steady seniors to energetic ponies to horses with metabolic needs — having access to specialized formulas, low‑starch options, and performance blends means each horse gets exactly what supports their health and comfort.
Thanks, MerryLeggs says she loves the grain.
