Welcome! The BioMotion Lab focuses on how muscle function and biomechanics affect a variety of common lower extremity injuries.

The BioMotion Lab is run by Dr. Brian Noehren, Professor of Physical Therapy and Associate Dean of Research in the College of Health Sciences at the University of Kentucky. The lab is dedicated to the research of common lower extremity injuries such as running injuries and mechanics, orthopedic injuries and muscle function. We use advanced motion capture technology and MRI muscle imaging technique
