Commonwealth Corner is a weekly State of the Commonwealth updates that summarize the latest meetings and events in Kentucky’s state capitol and beyond from Pikeville to Paducah. Host Vanessa Grossl is a state representative covering parts of Lexington-Fayette County and Georgetown-Scott County.
And from 5-6PM, "Eastern Standard" Hosted by Tom Martin is a WEKU radio magazine of interviews and stories about interesting people, places and events happening in central and Appalachian Kentucky. Tom Martin keeps us current on what’s happening in the world, arranges, conducts and edits interviews, coordinates with series hosts and writes the show.

Lexington has activated PHASE I of the Heat Plan effective Wednesday, June 10 through Thursday, June 11.
During Phase I, Lextran provides free rides to designated cooling centers to individuals experiencing homelessness.
