Fayette County Kentucky LEPC Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA or SARA Title III) was passed by Congress in 1986.

The primary mission of the Fayette Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is to develop and implement a community emergency response plan for releases of Extremely Hazardous Substances (EHS); provide an interface between facilities handling EHS and the public; and provide education for appropriate protective actions to the community. The state counterpart law for Kentucky is found in KRS Chapte

At 2:22pm EST, there are several severe storm warnings through western Kentucky and western Tennessee. This line of storms has produced a couple of confirmed tornadoes, although no tornado activity is reported right now. This is the anniversary of the 2021 western Kentucky tornadoes so stay tuned.
