Wilson Downing is getting some traffic improvements!

πŸš— A mini roundabout will replace the 4-way stop at Wilson Downing & Belleau Wood Drive.
πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈβ€βž‘οΈ Pedestrians will only need to cross one lane of traffic at a time due to crosswalks & raised islands.
➑️ A little ways up the road, a right turn lane will be added to Wilson Downing to get onto Tates Creek Road.
πŸ‘€ Be on the lookout for more info about the mini roundabout & how it will work over the next couple weeks!

The details:
🚧 The intersection of Wilson Downing & Belleau Wood Drive will be closed from July 6-31.
πŸ—“οΈ Starting next week, there will be construction in the area to get the site ready.

The Lexington Area MPO is seeking public comments on its draft FY 2026 Title VI Program Plan. Title VI of the Civil Rights Act ensures that no one is excluded from or discriminated against in federally funded transportation programs β€” regardless of race, color, or national origin. Review the draft plan and share your feedback by June 22, 2026. Comments can be submitted to [email protected].
