"It needs to be a Q3 Rock!" đȘš
Bells, rocks, and whistles don't always go together. But when rocks get completed, we ring bells and we cheer loud!
With the successful vitaspa.com launch, and EOS keeping us focused and productive, we had to celebrate.
Maybe, just maybe, we'll celebrate even more when Awesome Inc adds "Hot Tub" to its list of amenities at the office. đ€

We're back in the WordPress world. đ
For many years, Drupal has been APAX Software's CMS of choice. We stepped away from WordPress for a long time because frankly, it wasn't the right tool for what our clients needed. But the platform has come a long way, and as an enterprise CMS powering brands like CNN, Microsoft, and TED at scale, it's hard to ignore. With WordPress 7.0 dropping last week with native AI integration baked right in, it was the kind of thing that makes you pay attention. It basically means AI tooling is now part of the core infrastructure rather than something you have to patch on with plugins.
For our clients, that translates to things like smarter content suggestions, auto-generated image descriptions, and built-in translation assistance, all without needing a bunch of extra tools layered on top. We actually just launched vitaspa.com this month as our first WordPress site in years, so the timing feels right. It's a good time to be building on WordPress again!

Most software projects donât fail because the team canât build.
They fail because value shows up too late. By the time the big launch arrives, priorities changed, stakeholders shifted, and everyoneâs tired.
Our 2026 theme is deliver value quickly. Not rushed. Not cutting corners. Just reducing the time between âwe have a problemâ and âwe can feel the solution working.â
In the blog, we break down what that actually means, plus the signals to look for in a software partner so you do not end up with a long, anxious build.

Meet Lindsay Rall, our newest Project Manager at APAX Software!
Lindsay is jumping in to lead Pod 2 and bring even more clarity to how we plan, communicate, and deliver for clients. In her words, sheâs all about making sure the work is scoped, documented, and organized in a way that makes sense for both the team and the client, with roadmaps that go beyond âwhat are we doing next week?â
A few fun Lindsay facts:
đŁïž She can quote basically every Seinfeld episode
đ± Sheâs a plant person with a serious green thumb, loves old-house projects, and paints oil still lifes
đ¶ You can find her walking downtown with Arlo, her Cairn terrier
Weâre really excited to have Lindsay on the team. Drop a welcome in the comments!

Work hard, plan hard. đ
Last week, APAX welcomed a new Project Manager, Lindsay, to the team! We celebrated with a nice team walk down Main Street and lunch at Athenian Grill đ„ (some of the best gyros in Lexington). Look out for a post later this week introducing Lindsay!
At lunch, we talked about our favorite childhood board games and how that related to each of our roles now. Monopoly, Candy Land, Mousetrap.
Our strength comes from building a team with complementary skill sets; always ready to work together, adapt, and grow.
Where should we go for our next lunch?

Off to the races! đ
APAX Softwareâs annual Keeneland visit, including Justin Raney, lead developer on Keenelandâs mobile app.

Itâs 3:07pm on a Friday.
A clinic calls: their hours changed today.
The contact center is already getting complaints.
Marketing canât update the page because the approval workflow is stuck.
IT doesnât want to touch the CMS because the last update broke something.
This is what enterprise content management looks like in real life.
Hospital websites arenât brochures, theyâre operational infrastructure. When the CMS slows down, patients feel it first.
If youâve lived this moment, what caused it: approvals, permissions, or the platform itself?
