Congratulations to the BGADD on their good work and celebrating 50 years of helping people. The Executive Director of the Bluegrass ADD said, "Yesterday the Area Development Districts were honored by the Kentucky Senate, House and Governor Andy Beshear for the contributions made by ADDs to this great Commonwealth over the past 50+ years. The Bluegrass ADD will celebrate their 50th year on April 27th. Regional councils of government are used in every state, and it is definitely a concept that has taken hold in Kentucky. Although we are behind the scenes most of the time it was special to receive this overwhelming bi-partisan support and it is very much appreciated."
