P.E. | Today, on Professional Engineers Day, we are especially proud to celebrate our own Jordan Haney, PE, President of Thoroughbred Architects & Engineers.

This year, Jordan earned one of the profession’s highest honors, being named both the 2026 Kentucky New Professional Engineer of the Year by Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers and the National New Professional Engineer of the Year by NSPE - These prestigious recognitions reflect his dedication to engineering excellence, leadership, service, and the positive impact he continues to make within our profession and the communities we serve. Congratulations, Jordan, on this well-deserved achievement!

As we celebrate Jordan’s accomplishment, we also recognize and thank all Professional Engineers whose work often happens behind the scenes but shapes our everyday lives. From designing safe infrastructure and resilient communities to solving complex challenges with integrity and innovation, Professional Engineers make a lasting difference every day.

INTERN SPOTLIGHT | Happy National Intern Day! Today we are celebrating our amazing Thoroughbred & Hargett summer interns. We caught up with a few of them to hear about their experiences this summer, and here is what they shared!

GO CATS | Thank you to UK Sports & Campus Marketing and JMI Sports for inviting Thoroughbred Architects & Engineers to today’s Kentucky Football Kickoff Luncheon. It was a fantastic afternoon of networking, hearing Coach Stein share his vision for the season, and celebrating the excitement surrounding Kentucky Football.

A highlight of the day? Meeting Coach Stein’s wife, Darby—Jen Mueller, Thoroughbred Business Development Director, was definitely fan-girling for a minute! Welcome to Kentucky! We’re excited for a great season! Good Luck and Congrats!

We’re grateful to be part of such an incredible community. Go Cats!

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | Thoroughbred is proud to have provided Civil Design and Architectural Services for the new F45 Training East Lexington studio, including site development and a customized floor plan.

This project is especially meaningful because our own Charlie Hall, Staff Land Planner, and his wife, Meg, own and operate the South Lexington F45 Training studio, while a second location in East Lexington is currently under construction.

As co-owner and project manager, Charlie worked closely with designers and contractors to help bring the new studio to life, while Meg serves as Manager and Head Trainer of the South Lexington studio and will also manage the East Lexington location. We are proud to have been part of bringing their vision to life!
