Group and private math lessons for kids preK-12 grade and above.

We believe there are three important components to successful learning: understanding, practice and problem solving. Our program offers a variety of problems which ensures deep understanding, and which children love to solve.

For all Math lovers: today 16.09.25 is a special day!

4²+3²=5²

It is a perfect square day.

We may see dates which satisfy addition rules, subtraction rules, multiplication rules etc.

But this one satisfies the Pythagoras Theorem and the most famous Pythagorean triple. In the whole calendar of a century, there is no other date which satisfies the Pythagoras rule. Next will happen on the same date 100 years later on 16.09.2125.

It's summertime again! And as always, we’re offering our Math Honors Prep courses, designed for rising 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students. Each course includes 10 weekly 2-hour lessons that cover the majority of the topics for the upcoming school year.

If your child feels anxious about next year’s honors math class, this is a great opportunity to get ahead and build confidence. The Honors Math courses at Lexington are known for being fast-paced and intense, with the expectation that students will do some independent learning. Taking a summer course to preview the material helps students absorb the content over a longer period of time.

During the course, we provide clear explanations and plenty of practice.

Do you think 5 years old is too early to start taking math lessons? It’s actually not! A child's brain develops rapidly at a young age, and they are eager to learn during this time. We offer hands-on lessons that kids love, making learning enjoyable. Parents will see significant progress within just a couple of months. Try our free classes for rising kindergarteners and 1st graders. Please email us at [email protected] to register for a free 30-minute trial class on either August 31 or September 7 at 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM.

In summer, we offer the Honors prep courses. These courses are designed to cover the topics from Honors Math from LHS. Many kids still find courses at school challenging even if they take extra-curricula math lessons. This might be the result of different representation of the material at LHS, lack or mastery of skills, or possibly some topics which were never covered at school or at the math lessons before. Having an exposure to those topics gives kids an extra boost during the school year. Email us for more details at [email protected]. Some of the courses start this week!

Does your child take extra Math lessons but still struggles at school? There could be a few reasons why:

1. Timing. If a topic is learned a year or a few months before it’s introduced at school and is never used in between, the knowledge slips away. The brains are very efficient machines, they discard the information which is not used.

2. Lack of understanding or practice. If a topic is learned too quickly and not connected to other areas of Math, the memory of it is as quick to leave.

3. Different approach or different types of problems learned. The same title does not necessarily mean the same body of material or approach. It’s very common that kids don’t recognize the same topic they have learned before.

Do you want your high schooler to feel more comfortable taking Honors classes? Depending on a town, these courses can be very challenging. They go through topics fast and require a solid mastery of the skills. The best way to help a student is to start learning it a bit early, and the summer is the perfect time for it. We offer Prep courses which have been developed to cover the same topics and a similar approach to the Honors Course in Lexington or Wi******er, but give kids enough time to process the main subjects without stress.

Let’s be honest, it wasn’t OUR idea, the parents has asked us repeatedly for something like this. We hope the kids and the parents will find it useful!
