Great weekend trip

As our days grow warmer, what better place to enjoy a picnic than at Cumberland Gap? Don't know where to go? The park has many options, here are just a few!

Bartlett Park is just seconds away from the Visitor's Center. Enjoy a shaded or sunny picnic table by a babbling creek. Watch wildlife and enjoy a flat, open, accessible area for yourself or the whole family!

Lewis Hollow is a hidden gem close to Wilderness Road Campground, with picnic tables tucked among a quiet grove of trees in a secluded, scenic setting.

Civic Park is a remote section of the park that provides sunny, grassy spots dotted with picnic tables in a quiet area at the foot of White Rocks. Enjoy a book and lots of peace and quiet.

Want to stay close by? We have picnic tables right here at the Visitor's Center! The options for nice picnic spots to spend time in the park are many.
