ONE WEEK UNTIL VINTAGE DAD'S DAY!

We are counting down the days until one of our favorite games of the season--Vintage Dad's Day at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill! This year we're playing our friends the Ohio 9 Vintage Base Ball Club!

Game starts at 1:00 on Saturday, June 20th--come on out for an exciting afternoon of barehanded base ball!

It was a picture-perfect afternoon for vintage base ball at Waveland State Historic Site as we welcomed our friends the Indianapolis Blues Vintage Base Ball Club to Lexington on Saturday.

In two hard-fought matches that featured fine striking and outstanding plays in the field, the Boys of the Bluegrass took both ends of the doubleheader to finish the month of May.

Thank you to the Blues for making the trip to Lexington for the afternoon, thank you to all of our friends, fans, and families for coming out to support us, and thank you to Waveland for hosting us again!

We look forward to seeing everybody again at "Vintage Dad's Day" at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill on Saturday, June 20th!

The Bluegrass Barons will welcome our friends the Indianapolis Blues Vintage Base Ball Club to Waveland State Historic Site this afternoon for a pair of vintage base ball games!

First game starts at 1:00 and admission is FREE!

We remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice this Memorial Day.

The Bluegrass Barons new apparel line will be available for purchase at the next home game, May 30th, at Waveland Museum. The collection features Army Green, Red and Baron Navy colors. Attend and support your Club!

It was so good to be back at Waveland State Historic Site for our first home games of 2026! It was cool, cloudy, and there were a handful of raindrops as we faced our friends from the White River Base Ball Club for a pair of matches.

It was a great afternoon of fine striking, sharp fielding, and great camaraderie as the Barons took both ends of the double-header! Thank you to our friends from White River for spending Derby Day with us, thank you to all of our fans, friends, and family who braved the chilly weather to support us, and thank you to Waveland for hosting us for another season!
