Our first walk is happening THIS Sunday (5/31) and we’d love to see you and your hounds there!

These walks are a great chance to meet fellow hound lovers, catch up with adopters and volunteers, and enjoy a fun morning outdoors with the dogs.

🐶 All dogs must remain on leash.

Dolly & Elmer have been RESCUED!!!
Dolly our absolute gorgeous black and tan hound girl who had been in our care since January and Elmer the sweetest little beagle who recently came off stray hold started their new journey today!!! These two will be making their way to Massachusetts with the amazing rescue NECR!! We know they will find the very best homes and we couldn’t be happier!! We want to send an overwhelming thank you to every single person who made this possible for these two Greene County pups!! Thank you Sabrina for transporting these two today. We can’t wait to see the updates! So much love to Dolly and little guy Elmer❤️

Update 5/21: Curly has been found!

❗ LOST BEAGLE in DUXBURY, MA ❗

Curly is a 26 lb male beagle who was adopted yesterday and got loose from his new family today on Elm Street in Duxbury. He is wearing a red harness and grey collar, and he is microchipped. Meet Pip! He's a little Beagle puppy that came to NECR last weekend as an owner surrender from a family that just had too many dogs. Pip is 4-5 months old and currently weighs 20 lbs. He's going to be a big Beagle and might have some hound mixed in. Pip has a delightful personality and has lived with dogs, cats, and other kids. He's well socialized and engages easily with new people and new dogs. He's curious, playful and non-stop - unless he's asleep! Pip is in Massachusetts and we are accepting applications. Stop by Tractor Supply in Millbury, MA tomorrow to meet MAGGIE! 🐶

Maggie is a 1.5 year old redtick hound/beagle mix who is itching to meet her furever family. She is energetic, food motivated, and cuddly. What more could you want in a dog?

Maggie's foster will be at Tractor Supply from 10am until 12pm on Saturday, April 4th. See you tomorrow! 📆
