In case you haven’t seen the news…the Wounded Warrior Project benefit show has been postponed until Spring 2027. Disappointed we won’t be playing for you guys in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the support and excitement generated!

We have officially been asked to join a great benefit show Saturday August 1st. Show starts at noon, we’ll be playing at 3pm. Let’s show Versailles what a Spent show is all about. Come on out and support a great cause and catch some great local music. All ages! Special thanks to Allen R. Smith for helping us out and playing guitar with us.

We are all heartbroken to hear of the loss of the one and only Stanley Head!!! Stanley was one of a kind and was there from the beginning of it all. A true supporter of the Lexington music scene. If he was running sound, we all knew we were in good hands. So thankful we were able to reconnect and he was at our reunion show earlier this year. He will truly be missed. We’ll play a little louder so you can hear us up there!!!

For those who have asked, we still have some of the 20th Anniversary/Cancer Benefit T-shirts available for sale, especially the smaller sizes but some big sizes still available as well.

Today marks a week since the 20th Anniversary/Cancer Benefit Concert and what a night it was. A MAJOR thank you to Brett and Donnie Taylor Road Hyde The Riot All Saints Fade for sharing the stage with us and helping raise funds for the Hope Lodge of Lexington. A big thank you to Manchester Music Hall for opening its doors to us and being a GREAT partner in hosting the event. Thank you to WKYT and iHeartRadio for helping us promote the event on TV and radio. A huge shout out and thank you to Tim Mars for emceeing the event, he was amazing. Thanks to all the sponsors that gave us food/money/raffle items etc, your generosity was humbling. Lastly, not enough words in the English dictionary to properly thank each and every one of you who bought a ticket and came out to support the event. Thank you all so much from the 5 of us in Spent!

With all of that being said, the event was able to raise $6,500!!!!! Thank you EVERYONE.
