This is the worst advice or suggestion after a collision. A police report is crucial after the accident, don’t even move your car. Insurance companies will use not having a police report as a way to get out of covering the claim. Many times the person involved in the accident will change their story once they get home. Be smart

The days of a simple bumper removal are about gone. Almost all vehicles will need to be calibrated after bumper, mirrors, and lights are removed. Failure to calibrate correctly could result in a very bad malfunction with auto braking, lane assist, cruise control and all safety items.
