When life feels heavy, Hebrews reminds us where to fix our focus — not on the pressure, the pain, or the distractions, but on Jesus.

He endured the cross, faced rejection, carried suffering, and still chose obedience for the joy set before Him. Because of that, we can keep going even when we feel weary.

What you focus on will shape your endurance.
If you only stare at the struggle, you’ll feel defeated.
But when you fix your eyes on Jesus, you’ll find strength to keep moving forward.

Don’t quit in the middle of the process.
Keep your eyes on Him.

Philippians reminds us that spiritual growth is not about striving in our own strength — it’s about surrendering to the work God is already doing within us.

God calls us to walk in obedience, but He never asks us to do it alone. The same God who calls you forward is the One giving you the strength, desire, and grace to keep going.

You are not changing by pressure alone.
You are being transformed by His power working in you.

Keep showing up.
Keep surrendering.
God is still working.

Comparison doesn’t make you holy, it just makes you tired.

In The Gospel of John, Peter looked around wondering about someone else’s path, but Jesus brought the focus back with two simple words: “Follow Me.”

We waste so much energy measuring our calling, progress, and purpose against everyone else. But peace comes when we stop tracking other people’s assignments and start trusting God with our own.

Your job is not to compare.
Your job is to follow Jesus faithfully.

…and this is why we love our church. 🙌

Yesterday was one of those Sundays that reminds us what God is building at Rhythm Church.

A full room.
Powerful worship.
Life-giving conversations.
People serving people.

Most importantly, we celebrated TWO people saying yes to Jesus and taking their next step in faith! We also had FOUR people sign up to join the Dream Team and be part of what God is doing through our church.

What makes Rhythm special isn't a building or a program. It's the people. The hugs in the lobby. The prayers after service. The conversations that turn into friendships and friendships that become family.

We're not just attending church together. We're doing life together.

If Rhythm Church has impacted your life, tell us how in the comments! We'd love to hear your story. 👇

Peter wanted to know God’s plan for someone else, but Jesus redirected him back to his own calling.

Comparison will always distract us from obedience. God is not asking us to manage someone else’s assignment — He is asking us to trust Him with ours.

Stop looking side to side.
Keep your eyes on Jesus.
Your call is to follow Him faithfully, one step at a time.

God Didn’t Call You to Control Their Story 06/15/2026

If you missed the message, you can watch it here. We believe it’s going to help somebody take their eyes off comparison and put them back on Jesus.

God Didn’t Call You to Control Their Story Are you following Jesus, or are you watching somebody else’s race?...

Your provision isn't dependent on your job or your boss. The Lord has never once been shocked by your bank account. Remember the story of 5,000 people fed with a child's lunch? He won't abandon you. Open your hands, because He can multiply what you give Him.

As a youth pastor, I once privately criticized another pastor. It felt justified, almost like doing the Lord's work. But was it truly deserved? Reflecting on that moment.

A crumpled piece of paper shows permanent damage. You can apologize, but the wrinkles remain. True healing requires a miracle, and His name is Jesus. He can take what's broken and make it beautiful.
