Lexington has activated PHASE I of the Heat Plan effective Wednesday, June 10 through Thursday, June 11.

During Phase I, Lextran provides free rides to designated cooling centers to individuals experiencing homelessness.

LexRide fliers are popping up everywhere! 🤩
Jump from the Distillery District to the Warehouse Block with ease, without worrying about parking, traffic, or multiple rideshare trips.

➡️ 4:00 p.m. – Midnight
➡️ Buses every 12 to 15 minutes

Due to scheduled maintenance, there will be a power outage at the Transit Center tonight, Thursday, May 28, beginning at 7:00 p.m. and lasting approximately three hours.

The customer waiting area and public restrooms will close at 6:00 p.m. to prepare for this maintenance.

Beginning at 7:00 p.m., there will be no power at the Transit Center, including interior and exterior lighting, information kiosks, and other powered amenities.

Power is expected to be restored once maintenance work is completed.
All buses will run during this time as regularly scheduled.

In observance of Memorial Day, Lextran will operate on a Sunday service schedule Monday, May 25, 2026.

Customer Service will be available by phone from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
